Last month's step was
about your health. If you are flying to Athen's, by now
you should have checked to make sure your medical certificate
is current. If you need to get that bi-annual out of the
way before the fly-in, now would be a great time to take
care of that too.

8, Make Your Hotel Reservations

room information in last month's newsletter. Thay are the
following: The very convenient, new and popular "Sleep
Inn" at nearby Etowah is now re-opened as the "Red
Roof Inn: 423-781-7459. They have already offered us a rate
of $55.00 plus tax and indicated a willingness to negotiate
even lower if we put enough people there. In Athens @ I-75,
the Econo Lodge 423-744-8200 ia atill $42.95. The former
Homestead West is now "Americas Best Value Inn"
423-745-9002. There are several other locations available
close by the I-75 exit. All the above are on the regular
Swift van transportation route. For reservations, contact
the location of your choice. You must mention you are with
the Swift Group to obtain the above mentioned rates. It
looks like the Red Roof Inn in Etowah is the place to be
this year. If you haven't already done so, make those reservations.
The dates again are May 24th through May 29th.
