Here it is November,
and there are only 7 months left till the "2010 Old
Timers Swift Fly-In".
Everyone has surely marked their calendars by now for the
2010 Fly-In dates (May 24 through May 29, 2010)
Last month’s step was to make sure your airplane is
going to be airworthy, in peak operating condition and the
annual or any repairs will not conflict with the 2010 Fly-In
dates (May 24 through May 29, 2010)
Step 5, Locate Someone From the Past to Invite – Many
of you are in contact with or know of someone, who at one
time was an active member of this organization. Over the
years we have seen Swift enthusiast come and go. The ones
we haven't seen for a while still have fond memories of
the airplane and the fly-ins they did attend. Some past
members are no longer with us, but there may have been someone
who accompanied them to the various fly-ins. These friends
and family members would enjoy renewing old friendships.
Please give it some thought, if they attended a National
Fly-in in the past, please let them know about next year’s
“Old Timers Swift Fly-In”
Remember, this organization and the fly-ins, are as much
about the people as they are about the airplane. Please
invite someone from the past today.
